Asymmetric Knitted Tunic Pattern

Gauge:

Pattern:

1. Cast on 100 stitches.
2. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 18 inches from the cast on edge.
3. For the asymmetrical hem, on the next right side row, knit 70 stitches, then turn and purl back those 70 stitches.
4. Continue working back and forth on these 70 stitches in stockinette stitch until this section measures 12 inches.
5. Bind off all stitches.
6. Attach yarn to the remaining 30 stitches on the left side of the tunic.
7. Work in stockinette stitch on these 30 stitches until this section measures 8 inches.
