Instructions:

  1. Back Panel: Cast on 80 stitches.

  2. Row 1: Knit all stitches.

  3. Continue in stockinette stitch until piece measures 12 inches from cast on edge.

  4. Bind off all stitches.

  5. Front Panels (Make 2): Cast on 40 stitches.

  6. Work in stockinette stitch for 6 inches.

  7. Decrease 1 stitch at the beginning of next row, then decrease 1 stitch at the end of every following 4th row 5 times.

  8. Continue in stockinette stitch until piece measures 12 inches from cast on edge.

  9. Bind off all stitches.

  10. Assembly: Sew front panels to back panel at shoulders. Seam sides leaving a 6-inch gap for armholes.

  11. Sleeves (Make 2): Pick up stitches around armhole. Knit in the round for 5 inches. Increase 1 stitch at the beginning and end of every following 4th row 5 times. Knit in stockinette stitch for 2 more inches. Bind off all stitches.

  12. Weave in all ends and block your bolero to finish.
