Bountiful Berry Blanket

Overview

The Bountiful Berry Blanket is an intricately designed piece that will bring a touch of warmth and elegance to your home. Materials

• 4-ply Worsted Weight Yarn (approximately 1200 yards or 1100 meters)
• US size H-8 (5 mm), UK size 6, Metric size crochet hook
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Instructions

1. Begin by chaining 121 stitches or any multiple of 4 plus 1.
2. Row 1: In second chain from hook, *sc, skip 1 chain, (sc, dc) in next chain, skip 1 chain *, repeat across, ending with 1 sc in last chain. Turn your work.
3. Row 2: Chain 1, *sc in next sc, (sc, dc) in next sc*, repeat across, ending with 1 sc in last sc. Turn your work.
4. Repeat Row 2 until your blanket measures 50 inches or to your desired length.
5. For the border: Round 1 - Chain 1, sc evenly around blanket with 3 sc in each corner. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. Round 2 - repeat Round 1. Round 3 - *sc in next stitch, (sc, dc) in next stitch*, repeat around blanket, ending with a slip stitch to the first sc. Fasten off.
6. Weave in ends using your yarn needle.
