Cat Jumpsuit Knitting Pattern
This cat jumpsuit is designed to keep your feline friend warm and stylish. Make sure to measure your cat to ensure the perfect fit.
Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (UK Aran) in your choice of color - 100g
- Needles: US 8 (UK 6, 5mm) straight needles
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Instructions:
- Back: Cast on 40 stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch for 8 inches.
- Leg Openings: Bind off 4 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
- Continue in stockinette stitch for 2 inches.
- Bind off all stitches.
- Front: Work the same as the back until leg openings.
- For leg openings, divide work in half (20 stitches each) and bind off 4 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows for each side.
- Continue in stockinette stitch for 1.5 inches.
- Bind off the center 16 stitches for the neck.
- Work each side of the front separately for 1 inch, then bind off all stitches.
- Assembly: Sew the front and back pieces together at the sides.
- Weave in any loose ends.
