Pattern
Cast On
- Using the Long Tail Cast On method, cast on 14 stitches in white yarn.
Main Body
- Row 1: Knit all stitches.
- Row 2: Purl all stitches.
Inserting Name Hayley
- Following the chart or written instructions for intarsia or duplicate stitch knitting, insert the name Hayley in the center of the bookmark. You can use red and green yarn for the letters.
- Make sure to leave enough space on each side of the name to maintain the overall design.
Finishing
- Continue in stockinette stitch pattern for a total of 30 rows from the cast on edge.
