Circle Skirt in the Round Pattern

Description:

This circle skirt is worked in the round from the waistband down to create a fun and flowy garment that's perfect for twirling!

Materials:

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (UK Aran, 10 ply), approximately 800 yards (732 meters)
• Needles: US 8 (UK 6, 5mm) 24-inch (60cm) circular needles
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Gauge:

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch

Pattern:

1. Cast on 216 stitches using long-tail cast on method.
2. Join in the round, being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker at beginning of round.
3. Knit in stockinette stitch (knit every round) until skirt measures desired length.
4. Bind off all stitches knitwise.
5. Weave in ends and block garment to measurements.

Finishing:

Sew in a zipper or add an elastic waistband to finish off the skirt.
