Crochet Cat Skull Pattern

This crochet pattern is a fun and unique project to create a 3D cat skull that can be used as a decoration or part of a Halloween costume. The pattern is suitable for intermediate crocheters.

Materials

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in white (100g)
• Crochet Hook: US G/6 (UK 8/4mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry Needle
• Fiberfill Stuffing

Abbreviations

• Ch: Chain
• Sc: Single crochet
• Inc: Increase (2 single crochet in same stitch)
• Dec: Decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
• Fo: Fasten off

Pattern

Base:
Round 1: Magic ring, 6 sc into ring (6)
Round 2: Inc in each st around (12)
Round 3: (Sc, inc) repeat around (18)
Round 4: (Sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat around (24)
Round 5: (Sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat around (30)
Round 6-10: Sc in each st around (30)
Fo, leave long tail for sewing.

Top:
Work the same as Base but do not fasten off.

Assembly:
1. Stuff the Base lightly.
2. Flatten the Top piece and stitch it to the top of the Base, leaving an opening to add stuffing.
3. Stuff the Top piece firmly and sew the opening closed.
4. Use the tapestry needle to embroider eyes and nose with black yarn.
5. Weave in all ends securely.
