Crochet Fairy Top Pattern

Gauge:
16 stitches x 12 rows = 4 inches in double crochet
Pattern:
Top:
- Begin with a magic ring, ch 3 (counts as first double crochet here and throughout), 11 dc in ring, join with a sl st to top of beginning ch 3. (12 dc)
- Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around, join. (24 dc)
- Ch 3, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around, join. (36 dc)
- Continue in pattern, increasing by 12 dc evenly spaced in each round until desired size is reached.
- Work even in dc until piece measures half of bust measurement.
- Ch 35 (this is the first strap), sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, sl st to next st on top edge of the bust, turn, sc back across strap, sl st to next st on top edge, turn.
- Work 1 more row of sc on strap, fasten off. Repeat on other side for second strap.
- Weave in all ends and block your top for the best fit and appearance.
