Crochet Fantasy Flower Pattern

Materials

• Yarn: Light Worsted Weight Yarn (UK: Double Knitting, Metric: 8 ply)
• Crochet Hook: US H/8 (UK 6, Metric 5 mm)
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Stitches Used

• Chain (ch)
• Single Crochet (sc)
• Double Crochet (dc)
• Treble Crochet (tr)
• Slip Stitch (sl st)
• Cluster Stitch (cl st)

Pattern

Center of the Flower:

Round 1: Start with a magic ring, chain 1, make 10 sc in the ring, join with a sl st to the first sc (10 sc).

Round 2: Chain 1, make 2 sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the first sc (20 sc).

Petals:

Row 1: Chain 4 (counts as tr), skip next st, 1 sc in the next st, *skip next st, 1 tr in the next st, 1 dc in the same st as the tr, 1 tr in the same st, skip next st, 1 sc in the next st; repeat from * around, join with a sl st to the 4th ch at the beginning of the row.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing

You can add a button or bead to the center of the flower for extra embellishment.
