Gauge is not critical for this project.
Approximately 3.5 inches (9cm) wide and 7 inches (18cm) long. Fits most standard-sized glasses.
Note: This pattern is worked in the round.
Round 1: Starting with a magic circle, ch 1 (does not count as a st), work 6 sc into the circle. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (6 sts)
Round 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (12 sts)
Round 3: Ch 1, *work 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next st. Repeat from * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (18 sts)
Round 4: Ch 1, *work 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next 2 sts. Repeat from * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (24 sts)
Round 5-14: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (24 sts)
Round 15: Ch 1, work 1 sc in the next 11 sts. Ch 2, skip the next 2 sts, work 1 sc in the next 11 sts. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (22 sts and 2 ch-2 spaces)
Round 16-18: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st and ch-2 space around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (24 sts)

Round 20: Ch 1, work 1 sc in the next 4 sts. Ch 16, skip the next 8 sts, work 1 sc in the next 8 sts. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (20 sts and 16 ch sts)
Round 21-23: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st and ch st around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (36 sts)

Round 25-26: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st and ch-2 space around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (36 sts)
Round 27: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (36 sts)
Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
Lightly wet block the case to shape and size, using pins if necessary. Allow to dry completely.
