Crochet Winter Sweater Pattern

Materials:

Gauge:

16 stitches and 9 rows = 4 inches in double crochet (using larger hook)

Sizes (approximate):

Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)

Instructions:

  1. Back Panel:
  2. Chain enough stitches to reach desired width for back panel.

    Row 1: Double crochet in 3rd chain from hook and across. Turn.

    Rows 2-50 (adjust for desired length): Chain 2, double crochet across. Turn.

  3. Front Panels (make 2):
  4. Chain enough stitches to reach desired width for front panel.

    Repeat same instructions as Back Panel for rows 1-50.

  5. Joining:
  6. With larger hook, join front and back panels together at shoulders using slip stitch or preferred method.

  7. Sleeves (make 2):
  8. With larger hook, attach yarn at underarm.

    Round 1: Chain 2, work double crochet evenly around. Join with slip stitch.

    Rounds 2-20: Chain 2, double crochet around. Join with slip stitch. Adjust for desired length.

  9. Finishing:
  10. With smaller hook, work single crochet evenly around cuffs, neckline, and bottom edge of sweater. Weave in all ends.
