Drops Boucle Yarn Cardigan Pattern

This cozy cardigan is worked from the top down in raglan style, featuring a v-neck design. Perfect for a European size Small.

Materials:

• Yarn: Drops Boucle Yarn in your preferred color (100% Wool, 50g/140m)
• Knitting Needles: US 8/UK 6/5 mm and US 10/UK 4/6 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Gauge:

16 stitches x 20 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch using larger needles

Pattern:

1. Using smaller needles, cast on stitches for the neckline, work in ribbing (K1, P1) for 2 inches.
2. Switch to larger needles and boucle yarn. Begin raglan increases: Place markers for raglan seams and increase 8 stitches evenly across the row.
3. Work in stockinette stitch while continuing raglan increases on the right side until raglan seam-to-neckline measures desired length.
4. Separate sleeves: Place sleeve stitches on hold, cast on underarm stitches, continue working body.
5. Work body in stockinette until desired length, then work ribbing for bottom band.
6. Join sleeves with larger needles, pick up held stitches, work in stockinette until desired length, then work ribbing for cuffs.
7. Weave in ends and block to measurements.
