This pattern is written in one size to fit a chest size of approximately 36-40 inches. The finished measurements are as follows:

Pattern:

  1. Yoke: Using the smaller needles, cast on 80 stitches. Work in rib stitch (k1, p1) for 2 inches.
  2. Switch to larger needles and continue in stockinette stitch, increasing 8 stitches evenly across the last row (88 stitches).
  3. Continue in stockinette stitch, placing markers for raglan shaping as follows: 1st marker after 15 stitches, 2nd marker after 30 stitches, 3rd marker after 15 stitches, 4th marker after 30 stitches.
  4. Continue raglan shaping by increasing 1 stitch before and after each marker every other row until there are 192 stitches in total.
  5. Body: Remove markers and knit across the first 96 stitches for the back. Cast on 8 stitches, place marker, knit across the next 48 stitches for the left front, cast on 8 stitches, place marker, knit to end.
  6. Continue working in stockinette stitch, slipping the first stitch of every row for a neat edge. Work even until the body measures 15 inches from the underarm.
  7. Sleeves: Pick up and knit 44 stitches around the armhole. Work in stockinette stitch for 18 inches, then bind off all stitches.
  8. Repeat for the second sleeve.
  9. Finishing: Sew the underarm and side seams. Pick up stitches along the neckline and work in rib stitch for 1 inch. Bind off in pattern.
  10. Weave in all ends and block to measurements.
