Materials
- 4 skeins of Fine Lace weight yarn (approx. 400 yards / 365 meters per skein). Imperial size: 1.764 ounces | Metric size: 50 grams
- US size 4 knitting needles (UK Old Size 9, 3.5mm needle size)
- Stitch markers
- Large-eyed, blunt needle
Instructions
- Start by casting on 66 stitches.
- Row 1-6: Knit all stitches (forming the garter stitch border).
- Row 7 (RS): Knit 3, *yo, k2tog*, repeat until three stitches remain, knit last 3 stitches.
- Row 8 and all even rows: Knit all stitches.
- Rows 9-66: Repeat Rows 7-8, thirty times.
- After completing the lacework section, knit six more rows of garter stitch border.
- Bind off all stitches loosely or use a stretchy bind-off.
- Weave in all loose ends with the help of the blunt needle.
