Using the MC and smaller needles, cast on 240 stitches. Join in the round, being careful not to twist.

Begin Fair Isle pattern:
Rnd 1: With MC, knit.
Rnd 2: With MC, purl.
Rnd 3: With CC, knit.

Repeat these 4 rounds, following your chosen Fair Isle chart, until piece measures 12 inches from cast on edge.
Shape armholes:
At the beginning of the next 2 rounds, bind off 8 stitches. Then decrease 1 stitch at each armhole every other round 3 times.
Continue working even in pattern until armhole measures 8 inches.
Shape neck:
