Freeform Knitting Bag Pattern

Materials:

• US 15 / UK 000 / 10 mm knitting needles
• Lining fabric
• Sewing needle and thread
• Closure (button, zipper, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Using your art yarn, start by casting on 30 stitches.
2. Knit in garter stitch for 20 rows to create the base of the bag.
3. Now, let your creativity shine! Knit, purl, add texture, experiment with different stitches - there are no rules in freeform knitting. Continue until your piece measures approximately 18 inches in height.
4. Bind off your stitches and weave in any loose ends.
5. To create the lining, cut a piece of fabric to match the size of your knitted piece, leaving a seam allowance.
6. Sew the sides and bottom of the lining together, leaving the top open.
7. Insert the knitted piece into the lining and sew them together along the top edge.
8. Add your chosen closure to the top of the bag.
