Abbreviations

• k: knit
• p: purl
• yo: yarn over
• k2tog: knit two stitches together

Instructions

Shawl Body:

1. Cast on 101 stitches.
2. Knit the first row.
3. Row 2: Purl all stitches.
4. Repeat rows 1 and 2 until your shawl body measures 18 inches.

Tentacle Edging:

Note: The tentacle edging is worked along the bottom edge of the shawl.

1. Round 1: Knit 1, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * to last stitch, k1.
2. Repeat Round 1, knitting every round, until your shawl measures 20 inches.
3. Bind off all stitches.

Carefully block your shawl to bring out the lace details and drape.
