Row 31: Bind off
Using beige yarn, cast on 10 stitches.
Row 1: *K1, p1* repeat to end
Row 2: *P1, k1* repeat to end
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until the stem measures approximately 6 inches.
Bind off in pattern stitch.
Sew the two edges of the cap together using the tapestry needle, leaving a small hole at the base.
Stuff the cap lightly with toy stuffing.
Sew the stem to the center of the cap, covering the small hole at the base.
Weave in any loose ends and trim excess yarn.
