Knitted Jellyfish Tree Decoration Pattern

Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight 100% cotton yarn in your choice of colors. (Approximately 50g per jellyfish)

Instructions:
Body
- Using the long-tail cast-on method, cast on 24 stitches.
- Row 1-(Knit).
- Row 2-(Purl).
- Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until your work measures 3 inches (7.5 cm) from the cast-on edge, ending with a purl row.
Tentacles
- Switch to your tentacle color. Using the long-tail cast-on method, cast on 6 stitches.
- Row 1-(K1, M1, K1, M1, K1, M1, K1).
- Row 2-(Purl).
- Row 3-(Knit).
- Row 4-(Purl).
- Repeat Rows 3 and 4 until your tentacle measures 6 inches (15 cm) from the cast-on edge.
- Bind off all stitches.
- Repeat steps 1-7 to create 7 tentacles in total.
Assembly
- With the tapestry needle, thread the cast-on tail through the stitches of the Body, pull tight to gather the top of the jellyfish.
- Stuff the jellyfish body with toy stuffing or yarn scraps.
- Thread the tapestry needle with a length of yarn and sew the tentacles to the bottom of the jellyfish body.
- Weave in any loose ends.
