Knitted Puffy Sleeve Dress for a 7-inch Teddy Bear

This pattern is designed to fit a 7-inch teddy bear. It features puffy sleeves and a cute A-line skirt, perfect for dressing up your favorite cuddly friend.

Materials:

• Yarn: Lightweight (3) yarn in the color of your choice (approx. 50g)
• Needles: US size 2 (UK Old 14, Metric 2.75mm) double-pointed needles
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Gauge:

6 stitches x 8 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

1. Puffy Sleeves (make 2):
   1. Cast on 16 stitches.
   2. Knit in the round for 1 inch.
   3. Next round: *Kfb, K1, repeat from * to end (24 stitches).
   4. Knit in stockinette stitch for 1 inch.
   5. Bind off all stitches.
2. Skirt:
   1. Using the same yarn, pick up and knit 48 stitches along the bottom edge of the puffy sleeves (24 stitches per sleeve).
   2. Knit in the round for 2 inches.
   3. Next round: *K2tog, K6, repeat from * to end (42 stitches).
   4. Knit in stockinette stitch for 2 inches.
   5. Bind off all stitches.
3. Finishing:
   1. Seam the puffy sleeves together at the top to create a continuous loop.
   2. Attach the skirt to the bottom edge of the puffy sleeves.
   3. Weave in any loose ends and trim excess yarn.
