Pattern

Koala Body (Make 1)

Using grey yarn, CO 12 sts.

Row 1: Knit across.

Row 2: Purl across.

Repeat Rows 1-2 until piece measures 6 inches.

Next Row: Dec 1 st at the beginning of the row, knit across, dec 1 st at the end of the row. (10 sts)

Continue knitting in stockinette stitch until piece measures 9 inches.

BO all sts.

Koala Head (Make 1)

Using grey yarn, CO 6 sts.

Rows 1-10: Knit across.

Row 11: K2, inc 1 st in next st, k2, inc 1 st in next st, k2. (8 sts)

Row 12: Purl across.

Rows 14-17: Knit across.

BO all sts.

Assembly

1. Sew the Koala Head to the top edge of the Koala Body.
2. Stuff the Koala Body lightly.
3. Sew the bottom edge of the Koala Body closed.
4. Sew the Koala to a stick securely.
5. Weave in all ends.
