Materials
- Yarn: Sport weight yarn (approx. 50 yards / 46 meters)
- Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
Gauge
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch
Abbreviations
- K: Knit
- P: Purl
- YO: Yarn over
- SSK: Slip, slip, knit
- K2tog: Knit two stitches together
Instructions
- Cast on 120 stitches.
- Join in the round, being careful not to twist.
- Round 1-5: *K2, P2* repeat to the end of the round.
- Round 6: *K2tog, YO* repeat to the end of the round.
- Round 7-12: Knit all stitches.
- Round 13: *YO, SSK* repeat to the end of the round.
