Continue working in stockinette stitch for 6 more rows, ending with a WS row.

Row 44 (RS): K 2, p 56, k 2.

Row 45 (WS): P all.

Continue working in stockinette stitch with color B for 4 more rows, ending with a WS row.

Switch to color C.

Rows 50-54: With color C, work in stockinette stitch.

Row 55 (RS): K all.

Bind off all stitches.

Mallard Duck Body:

Switch to color A.

With RS facing, pick up and knit 60 sts along the side of the head section.

Row 1 (WS): P all.

Row 2 (RS): K all.

Row 3 (WS): P all.

Continue working in stockinette stitch with color A until the body section measures 6 inches from the join point, ending with a WS row.

Mallard Duck Tail:

Switch to color B.

Finishing:
