Color A: Choose your first contrasting color
Color B: Choose your second contrasting color
Row 1: With Color A, chain 201
Row 2: Work 1 sc in second ch from hook, work 1 sc in each ch to end, turn (200 sc)
Row 3: With Color B, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn (200 sc)
Continue row 3 for the desired length of your scarf, alternating colors every row. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for weaving in later.
To create the mosaic pattern:

Row 1: With Color A, ch 1, work 1 dc in each st across, turn (200 dc)
Row 2: With Color A, ch 1, *1 dc in next st, 4-st L in next 4 sts; repeat from * to last 5 sts, 1 dc in each of last 5 sts, turn (200 sts)
Row 3: With Color B, ch 1, work 1 dc in each st across, turn (200 dc)
Row 4: With Color B, ch 1, *4-st L in next 4 sts, 1 dc in next st; repeat from * to last 5 sts, 4-st L in next 4 sts, 1 dc in each of last 5 sts, turn (200 sts)
Repeat Rows 1-4 until your scarf reaches the desired length.
Weave in all loose ends using a tapestry needle.
