Materials

• Yarn: 3 skeins of DK weight yarn (Color A: 200g, Color B: 150g, Color C: 150g)
• Hook: US G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Gauge

4" x 4" = 18 stitches x 10 rows in double crochet

Finished Size

Approximately 60" wingspan and 25" depth after blocking

• ch - chain
• dc - double crochet
• sc - single crochet
• st(s) - stitch(es)

Instructions

1. Using Color A, ch 4, join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
2. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, (3 dc in ring, ch 2) 3 times, join with a slip stitch to top of beginning ch-3. (12 dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc across, with 3 dc in center ch-2 space, join. (20 dc)
4. Continue working in pattern, switching colors as desired, until shawl reaches desired size.
5. Edging: Sc evenly around shawl, working 3 sc in each corner.

Fasten off and weave in ends. Block shawl to finished measurements.
