Approximately 60 inches long and 8 inches wide
Using US size 8 (5mm) knitting needles, cast on 40 stitches with the first color yarn.
Row 1: *K2, p2, rep from * to end of row.
Row 2: *P2, k2, rep from * to end of row.
Row 3: *K2, p2, rep from * to end of row.
Continue repeating Rows 2 and 3 until the scarf measures 6 inches from the cast on edge.
Switch to the second color yarn.
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Row 2: Purl all stitches.
Continue repeating Rows 1 and 2 until the second color section measures 6 inches from the first color section.
Repeat the above color pattern with the remaining colors, each section measuring 6 inches.
Switch back to the first color yarn and repeat Rows 2 and 3 for another 6 inches.
Bind off all stitches.
With the crochet hook and the first color yarn, join yarn at any corner of the scarf.
Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each stitch around the entire scarf, making sure to work 3 sc in each corner stitch. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, *dc in next stitch, ch 1, skip next stitch, rep from * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first dc.
Round 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-1 space around. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc.
Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
