Materials

Gauge
Using US 8 needles, 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions
- Back Panel
- Using US 8 needles, cast on 80 stitches.
- Work in 2x2 ribbing (k2, p2) for 4 inches.
- Switch to US 10 needles and knit in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 20 inches from the cast on edge.
- Bind off all stitches.
- Front Panels (Make 2)
- Using US 8 needles, cast on 40 stitches.
- Work in 2x2 ribbing (k2, p2) for 4 inches.
- Switch to US 10 needles and knit in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 20 inches from the cast on edge.
- Bind off all stitches.
- Assembly
- Place markers 5 inches in from each side of the back panel.
- With right sides facing, sew the front panels to the back panel from the markers to the bottom edge.
- Weave in all ends and block your cardigan to finish.
