  1. Cast on 6 stitches.
  2. Row 1: Knit across.
  3. Row 2: Purl across.
  4. Rep Rows 1-2 until you have 16 rows in total.
  5. Row 17: Knit 2, *k2tog, k2; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2. (4 sts)
  6. Row 18: Purl across.
  7. Row 19: Knit across.
  8. Row 20: Purl across.
  9. Rep Rows 19-20 until you have 8 rows in total.
  10. Row 29: Knit 2, *k2tog; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2. (2 sts)
  11. Row 30: Purl across.
  12. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for seaming.

Sides

Pick up and knit 10 stitches along the side of the base.

Top

Pick up and knit 6 stitches along the top of the base.

Finishing

With the wrong side facing, sew the sides of the sea potato using the mattress stitch.

Leave a small opening and stuff the potato with polyfill stuffing.

Close the opening using the mattress stitch.

Weave in any remaining yarn ends.

The sea potato measures approximately 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height when stuffed.
