Strawberry-themed Baby Booties Knitting Pattern

Materials:

Gauge:

20 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

Bootie (make 2):

1. Using red yarn, cast on 36 stitches.
2. Rows 1-10: Knit across.
3. Row 11: K1, K2tog, knit to last 3 stitches, K2tog, K1 (34 stitches).
4. Row 12: Purl across.
5. Repeat rows 11-12 until 20 stitches remain.
6. Shape toe: Row 1 - K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K9. Row 2 - Purl.
7. Row 3 - K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K1, K2tog, K7. Row 4 - Purl.
8. Row 5 - K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K2tog, K5. Row 6 - Purl.
9. Row 7 - K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K1, K2tog, K3. Row 8 - Purl.
10. Row 9 - K1, K2tog, K2tog, K1, K2tog, K1. Row 10 - Purl.
11. Row 11 - K2tog across (3 stitches).
12. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread through remaining stitches and pull tight. Seam bootie.

Leaves (make 2):

1. Using green yarn, cast on 10 stitches.
2. Knit across.
3. Next row: K1, Kfb across (20 stitches).
4. Knit across.
5. Repeat last 2 rows once more (40 stitches).
6. Bind off.

Assembly:

1. Sew the leaves onto the booties.
2. Weave in all ends.
