Pattern:

Using the main color (rose), cast on 240 stitches.

Row 1: *Double crochet in the second chain from the hook, skip 1 chain, single crochet in the next chain. Repeat from * across, ending with a double crochet in the last chain. Turn.

Row 2: Chain 1, single crochet in the first stitch, *skip 1 stitch, double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat from * across, ending with a single crochet in the last stitch. Turn.
