Instructions:

Back Panel:

Using long tail cast on, cast on 80 (88, 96) stitches.
Work in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) for 4 inches.
Begin wavy lace pattern:

Row 1: *K2, yo, k2tog, k2tog, yo, k1; repeat from * to end.
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl.

Row 5: Knit.

Front Panels (make 2):

Work as for back panel until piece measures 12 (13, 14) inches from cast on edge.

Finishing:

With right sides facing, seam the shoulders together using mattress stitch.
Sew side seams leaving armholes as desired.
Pick up stitches around armholes and neck edge. Work in seed stitch for 1 inch. Bind off loosely.
