  - Main Color (MC): 150-200 yards (137-183 m)
  - Contrast Color (CC): 25-30 yards (23-27 m)
- **Needles:** US 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16" (40 cm) length
- **Double-pointed needles:** US 6 (4 mm) set of 4 or 5
- **Notions:** Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors

## GAUGE
20 stitches and 26 rounds = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch

**For Small/Medium:**
Cast on 88 sts in MC. Join for working in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker for beginning of round.

**For Large/XL:**
Cast on 96 sts in MC. Join for working in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker for beginning of round.

**For 2XL:**
Cast on 104 sts in MC. Join for working in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker for beginning of round.

**All Sizes:**
Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 2" (5 cm).

## FINISHING
Cut yarn, leaving 8" (20 cm) tail. Thread tail through remaining 8 stitches and pull tight to close crown. Secure on inside of hat.

Weave in all ends using tapestry needle. Block lightly if desired.

## CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry, reshaping while damp.
