Instructions

Cast On

Body

Every row: Knit all stitches.

Continue knitting every row until the blanket measures 36 inches (91.5 cm) from the cast-on edge.

Tip: If you'd rather count ridges than measure, work until you have 162 ridges on the right side.

Bind Off

Bind off all 135 stitches loosely (knitwise). Cut the yarn, leaving a 6-inch (15 cm) tail.

Finishing

1. Weave in all ends securely using the tapestry needle, running them along the garter ridges on the wrong side.
2. Blocking (optional but recommended): Gently wet-block or steam-block the blanket to even out the stitches and relax the fabric. Lay flat to the finished measurements (30 x 36 inches) and let dry completely.
