# Galactic Crime Lord (Jabba) Amigurumi Pattern

## Description
A detailed amigurumi pattern for a large, slug-like crime lord. This pattern utilizes advanced shaping techniques, including bobble stitches for facial warts and loop-specific stitches to create "rolls" of fat along the body.

## Materials & Tools
*   **Yarn:** Worsted/Aran Weight yarn (approx. 100g).
    *   *Main Colour:* Olive Green or Mottled Brown/Green.
    *   *Contrast Colour:* Pale Tan or Cream (for chest/stomach patch).
    *   *Eye Colour:* Small amount of Orange or Yellow yarn (or safety eyes).
*   **Hook:** 3.50mm (UK 9 or E/4). Note: We use a smaller hook than standard for Aran yarn to ensure tight tension.
*   **Notions:** Polyester fibre fill (stuffing), Tapestry needle, Stitch markers, Dressmakers pins, 12mm Safety Eyes (optional, embroidered eyes recommended for accuracy).

## Tension (Gauge)
20 stitches and 22 rows = 10cm x 10cm over double crochet (dc).
*Tension is not critical for sizing but must be tight enough so stuffing does not show through.*

*Note: This BLO round creates a distinct line where the neck roll sits on the belly.*

*The tail curves. To achieve this without complex short rows, we will decrease primarily on one side later, but first, we begin the general taper.*

### Belly Patch (Optional)

**Row 2:** Ch 1, inc, 8 dc, inc. Turn. `[10 + 2 = 12 sts]`
**Row 3:** Ch 1, inc, 10 dc, inc. Turn. `[12 + 2 = 14 sts]`
**Rows 4-10:** Ch 1, dc in each st across. `[14 sts]`
**Row 11:** Ch 1, dc2tog, 10 dc, dc2tog. Turn. `[14 - 2 = 12 sts]`
**Row 12:** Ch 1, dc2tog, 8 dc, dc2tog. Turn. `[12 - 2 = 10 sts]`
*Fasten off. Sew to the front of the body, extending from the neck crease down to the belly.*

## Assembly & Finishing

1.  **Face Sculpting (Needle Sculpting):**
    *   Using a length of main colour yarn, insert needle from the back of the neck and exit at the intended eye position (Rnd 11, aligned with nostril).
    *   Insert needle one stitch over and go back to the neck. Pull tight to create a socket indentation. Repeat for the other eye. Knot securely at the back of the neck (hidden inside).
2.  **Eyes:**
    *   Sew the **Eyelids** over the indented eye sockets at an angle to create a sleepy/menacing look.
    *   Embroider the eye underneath the lid using Orange/Yellow yarn.
3.  **Mouth:**
    *   Using Black or Dark Brown yarn, embroider a very wide, grimacing line from Rnd 13 on one side of the face to the other.
4.  **Arms:**
    *   Sew arms to the body at Rnd 26 (just above the neck fat roll defined by the BLO row). They should look small compared to the body.
5.  **Tail Curling:**
    *   If you inserted wire, curl the tail around towards the front of the body so he looks like he is sitting on his own tail.
