(WS) Row 4: Purl all stitches.
(RS) Row 5: Knit 1, *yo, k2tog, k4, yo, k2tog, k2; repeat from * until last 2 stitches, k1.
(WS) Row 6: Purl all stitches.
(RS) Row 7: Knit 2, *yo, k2tog, k2, yo, k2tog, k4; repeat from * until last 5 stitches, yo, k2tog, k3.
(WS) Row 8: Purl all stitches.
(RS) Row 9: Knit 3, *yo, k2tog, k2, yo, k2tog, k2, yo, k2tog, k2; repeat from * until last 8 stitches, yo, k2tog, k4.
(WS) Row 10: Purl all stitches.
Repeat Rows 1-10 for the lace stitch pattern.

Instructions

  1. Cast on 87 stitches (or any multiple of 8, plus 3).
  2. Knit 6 rows for the Garter Stitch border.
  3. Continue in the Lace Stitch Pattern until the scarf reaches your desired length, ending with Row 8 of the stitch pattern.
  4. Knit 6 rows for the Garter Stitch border.
  5. Bind off all stitches.
  6. Weave in any loose ends.
