Alpaca Crew Neck Sweater Pattern

This pattern is for a cozy alpaca crew neck sweater with an open gauge and 3/4 length sleeves. Perfect for staying warm and stylish!

Gauge:

16 stitches x 20 rows = 4 inches/10cm in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

  1. Back Panel: Cast on 60 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 16 inches.
  2. Front Panel: Cast on 60 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 14 inches. Create a neckline by binding off the center 20 stitches and working each side separately.
  3. Sleeves (make 2): Cast on 30 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch for 10 inches, then decrease 1 stitch at each end every other row until 10 stitches remain. Bind off.
  4. Join front and back panels at shoulders using mattress stitch.
  5. With right side facing, pick up stitches around neckline and work in 1x1 rib for 3 rows. Bind off in pattern.
