Gauge:

Instructions:
- Using US 6 needles, cast on 60 (64, 68, 72) stitches.
- Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 1 inch.
- Switch to US 8 needles and begin textured stitch pattern:
Row 1: *K2, P2, repeat from * to end.
Row 2: *P2, K2, repeat from * to end.
Repeat these 2 rows for textured stitch pattern until piece measures 10 (11, 12, 13) inches from cast on edge.
- Shape armholes:
- Next row (RS): Bind off 4 (5, 6, 7) stitches, knit to end.
- Next row (WS): Bind off 4 (5, 6, 7) stitches, purl to end.
- Continue in pattern, working each side separately.
- Shape neck:
- Continue to work as set, decreasing 1 stitch at neck edge on every row 3 times.
- Continue in pattern until front measures same as back to shoulder.
- Join shoulder seams.
- Work sleeves:
- Pick up stitches around armhole and knit in the round until sleeve measures 5 (5.5, 6, 6.5) inches, ending on a WS row.
- Bind off loosely.
- Sew side and sleeve seams.
