Bean-Shaped Knitted Keychain Pattern

This adorable bean-shaped knitted keychain is perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to your keys or bag. The finished size is approximately 5 cm in length.

Materials:

• Keychain ring
• Fiberfill stuffing

Instructions:

1. Cast on 3 stitches
2. Row 1: Knit all stitches
3. Row 2: K1, M1, K1, M1, K1 (5 stitches)
4. Row 3: Purl all stitches
5. Row 4: K1, M1, K3, M1, K1 (7 stitches)
6. Row 5: Purl all stitches
7. Row 6: K1, M1, K5, M1, K1 (9 stitches)
8. Row 7: Purl all stitches
9. Row 8: Knit all stitches
10. Row 9: Purl all stitches
11. Row 10: K1, SSK, K5, K2tog, K1 (7 stitches)
12. Row 11: Purl all stitches
13. Row 12: K1, SSK, K3, K2tog, K1 (5 stitches)
14. Row 13: Purl all stitches
15. Row 14: K1, SSK, K1, K2tog, K1 (3 stitches)
16. Row 15: Purl all stitches
17. Row 16: K3 together
18. Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing up the seam.
19. Using a tapestry needle, thread the yarn tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close the bean shape.
20. Stuff the bean lightly with fiberfill.
21. Sew the ends closed securely.
22. Attach the keychain ring to the top of the bean.
