Back:
Using the long tail cast on method, cast on 100 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 30 inches from the cast on edge.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 6 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Continue in stockinette stitch until armhole measures 8 inches.
Shape Shoulders: Bind off 20 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Bind off remaining stitches.
Front: Work same as back until piece measures 26 inches from the cast on edge. Work the deep V neck shaping as follows:
Row 1: Knit 70, place marker, knit 15, place marker, knit to end.
Row 2: Purl across, slipping markers.
