Dog Sweater Knitting Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (UK Aran, Metric 10 ply), 200 yards (183 meters)

Gauge:

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

1. Using the long-tail cast on, cast on 80 stitches.
2. Work in K2, P2 ribbing for 1 inch.
3. Continue in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 8 inches from the cast on edge.
4. Shape armholes: Bind off 4 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
5. Next row: Knit across all stitches.
