Poncho Without Seams Knitting Pattern

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (UK: Aran, Metric: 10 ply) - approximately 800 yards (732 meters)
• Needles: US 10 (UK 6, Metric 6mm) circular needles, 24" or 32" in length
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Gauge

14 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions

1. Cast on 120 stitches using the long tail cast on method. Place marker and join in the round, being careful not to twist.
2. Knit in stockinette stitch (knit every round) until the piece measures 20 inches from the cast on edge.
3. Next round: *Knit 2 together, yarn over, repeat from * to end of round.
4. Knit 1 round.
5. Bind off all stitches loosely.
6. Weave in ends and block your poncho to measurements.
