Ribbed Scarf Knitting Pattern
Materials:
- Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn (UK: Aran, Metric: 10-ply), approximately 400g (200m)
- Needles: 6mm (US 10, UK 4)
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Instructions:
- Cast on 40 stitches.
- Row 1-6: *K2, P2, repeat from * to end of row.
- Row 7: Knit all stitches.
- Repeat rows 1-7 until scarf reaches desired length, ending on row 6.
- Bind off in rib pattern.
- Weave in ends using tapestry needle.
- Block to measurements.
