Ribbed Knot Headband

Description

Gauge

20 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in rib stitch

Instructions

1. Cast on 20 stitches.
2. Row 1: (Right side) K1, P1 across.
3. Row 2: (Wrong side) P1, K1 across.
4. Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until the headband measures 18 inches.
5. Bind off and leave a long tail for sewing.
6. Assembly: Fold the headband in half with the right sides facing each other. Use the long tail to sew the two ends together, creating a loop.
7. Knot: Cut a long piece of yarn, wrap it around the center of the headband loop, and secure it with a knot. Weave in any remaining yarn tails.
