Pattern
- Using smaller needles, cast on 100 stitches.
- Work in rib stitch (K1, P1) for 2 inches.
- Switch to larger needles and work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 18 inches from cast on edge.
- Shape armholes by binding off 5 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
- Continue in stockinette stitch until piece measures 20 inches.
- Work in rib stitch (K1, P1) for 2 inches.
- Bind off all stitches.
- Sew side seams using mattress stitch.
- Weave in all ends.
- Block the finished top to measurements.
