Materials

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches / 10cm in stockinette stitch with US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm needles.

This pattern is written for sizes Small (Medium, Large, X-Large).
Instructions
Back:
- Using US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm knitting needles, cast on 96 (112, 128, 144) stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) until the piece measures 14 (14, 14.5, 14.5) inches / 36 (36, 37, 37) cm from the cast-on edge.
Right Front:
- Using US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm knitting needles, cast on 52 (56, 60, 64) stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch until the piece measures the same length as the Back.
Left Front:
- Using US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm knitting needles, cast on 52 (56, 60, 64) stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch until the piece measures the same length as the Back.
Sleeves (make 2):
- Using US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm knitting needles, cast on 48 (48, 56, 56) stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 18 (18, 18.5, 18.5) inches / 46 (46, 47, 47) cm from the cast-on edge. Place a stitch marker at the beginning of the last row.
Neckband:
- Using US size 6 / UK size 8 / 4mm knitting needles, pick up stitches along the Right Front neck edge, including the shoulder edge, until you reach the last Back stitch. Place a stitch marker on each side of the last Back stitch.
- Work in 1x1 ribbing (k1, p1) for 2 inches / 5cm, ending with a wrong-side row.
- Bind off all stitches loosely.
Buttonband:
- Using US size 6 / UK size 8 / 4mm knitting needles, pick up stitches along the Left Front edge, starting at the bottom and working up to the neckband. Place a stitch marker on each side of the first Back stitch.
- Work in 1x1 ribbing for 2 inches / 5cm, ending with a wrong-side row.
- Bind off all stitches loosely.
Finishing
Block all pieces to the specified measurements.
Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the side and sleeve seams.
Attach buttons on the Buttonband opposite the buttonholes on the Neckband.
Weave in any loose ends and trim.
