Astral Two Color Squares Pattern

This pattern is for creating colorful knitted squares using two contrasting colors.

Materials Needed

• Yarn: Light worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors
• Needles: US 6/UK 8/4mm knitting needles
• Tapestry needle

Gauge

20 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Pattern

Casting on: Using Color A, cast on 36 stitches.

Row 1 (RS): Knit all stitches.

Row 2 (WS): Knit all stitches.

Row 3: Using Color B, knit all stitches.

Row 4: Using Color B, knit all stitches.

Row 5: Using Color A, knit all stitches.

Rows 6-10: Repeat Rows 3-5 twice more.

Continue working in this color pattern until the square measures 6 inches.

Bind off all stitches.

Finishing

Weave in the yarn ends and block the square to size.

Repeat the pattern to create more squares in different color combinations.
