Ballerina Skirt Pattern for Toy
This pattern is designed to fit a standard 10-inch plush toy, but can be easily adjusted for other sizes.
Materials:
- Yarn: Light weight yarn in your choice of color (approximately 50 yards)
- Knitting Needles: US 3 / UK 11 / 3.25mm
- Crochet Hook: US C-2 / UK 12 / 2.75mm
- Darning needle
Instructions:
Skirt:
- Cast on 60 stitches
- Knit in the round for 10 rows
- Next row: *K2, K2tog, repeat from * to end of row
- Next row: Knit
- Next row: *K1, K2tog, repeat from * to end of row
- Next row: Knit
- Next row: K2tog across entire row
- Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through remaining stitches and pull tight to close.
Waistband:
- With crochet hook, join yarn at the top of the skirt
- Single crochet evenly around the waistband
- Slip stitch to first single crochet to join, fasten off and weave in ends
