This pattern is for men's sizes S (M, L, XL). Sample is shown in size L.
1. Back: With smaller needles, cast on 80 (88, 96, 104) stitches. Work in 2x2 ribbing for 4 inches.
2. Switch to larger needles and work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 15 (16, 17, 18) inches from cast on edge, ending with a wrong side row.
3. Cable Pattern: Follow cable chart for aran cables.
4. Front: Work same as back until piece measures the same as back to shoulders.
5. Join front and back at shoulders using the Three-Needle Bind Off method.
6. Sleeves: With smaller needles, cast on 36 (40, 44, 48) stitches. Work in 2x2 ribbing for 3 inches.
7. Switch to larger needles and work in stockinette stitch, increasing 1 stitch at each end every 6th row 10 times, then every 8th row 2 times. You should have 58 (62, 66, 70) stitches.
