Pattern

1. Using long tail cast on, cast on 64 stitches.
2. Join for working in the round, being careful not to twist stitches.
3. Round 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round.
4. Repeat Round 1 until piece measures 8 inches.
5. Next Round: *K2tog, P2tog; repeat from * to end of round (32 stitches).
6. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through remaining stitches and pull tight to close.
7. Weave in ends and attach a pom pom if desired.
