This pattern is inspired by the iconic TARDIS from Doctor Who. Keep your phone safe and stylish with this fun and geeky pouch!
Not critical for this project.
Approximately 5 inches x 3 inches, fits most standard smartphones.
Base:
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join with a sl st to first sc. (6)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join. (12)
Round 3: Ch 1, *1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat from * around, join. (18)
Continue increasing in this manner until the circle is the desired width for your phone.
Continue working even in rounds until the piece is long enough to cover the phone.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Flap:
Attach yarn to one side of the pouch opening. Ch 1, hdc in same st and in each st around, turn.
Repeat hdc rows until the flap is long enough to fold over the phone.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Sew button on opposite side of pouch opening.
Fold flap over front of pouch and secure with button.
Your TARDIS phone pouch is now ready to use!
